Visit San Francisco’s Public Spaces

If you ever get the chance to travel to San Francisco then there is something that you should see even though it’s not going to be listed in any of the tour guides. You should check out the public spaces that are located all throughout the Financial District.
There was a law passed in San Francisco awhile back which mandates that every time a building is created that’s a certain size or larger there also needs to be a new public space added to the same area. This means that there are a bunch of cool rooftop gardens, urban parks and wall fountains with seating next to them tucked in between the different buildings of San Francisco.
This is really neat for the people who work in the area. You can easily take your lunch, escape to one of the local water wall fountains and just get away from your busy work day for a moment. But visitors will find that they enjoy these little nooks and crannies of nature as well. Once you’re done seeing the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf, do something a little more local and tour those public spaces! You’ll learn a lot about the history of the city and you’ll also see some really beautiful stuff.
