I finally got our media room finished.  It is really amazing.  I got a projector and a huge movie screen.  I even bought twelve leather recliners and I put them on risers.  So, we actually have three rows of stadium seating.  The basement in our house is ridiculously huge so I had plenty of room for a home theater.  I had to finish the basement but I really like doing that type of work.  I put in flooring with little lights down the aisle.  I put up drywall and painted the walls a dark brown.  I even hung curtains on either side of the screen.  I also got a cotton candy machine and a popcorn maker.

I know it sounds a little silly but I even bought tensabarrier system to mark off the food and candy area and the aisle besides the seats.  I know that it was a little over the top to get a post and rope system for my home theater but it really makes it look authentic.  My family and I have family movie night every week.  Plus, my wife and I have friends over once a month for a big movie night.  We love to watch movies and I really wanted to go all out with the home theater.
