Top Places to Go on Business Trips

Business trips are kind of a catch 22 — it’s fun to travel and to get paid for it (or, if you are self-employed, to be able to deduct the expenses from the trip), but business trips can also often be boring and tedious.

What helps is to try to plan your business trips for certain destinations that you would like to visit.  Here are some of the top places to go on business trips.

  1. Florida – Florida is a great place to visit, and there are tons of business convensions and other events there every year.  Make your visit one to remember by staying in a Florida villa instead of a hotel.  Florida villas are vacation rentals, i.e., houses furnished and rented out to vacationers.  You can usually locate and book villas in Florida through the management company’s website.
  2. Hawaii – No joke!  Everyone loves Hawaii and there are always tons of business events being hosted there.  For example, Writers Digest called the Maui Writers Conference the best in the world.  Wonder why?
  3. New York – New York City is such a major business center than many professional conferences and events are held here.  However, it is also a major shopping center, a great place for luxury hotels, etc.

There are of course many other wonderful places to visit on a business trip — these are just the top three, in my opinion.  If there is somewhere you would like to visit, see if you can find a business event there that you can justify attending!
