Baseball Franchise Partners

My brother decided to apply for a baseball school franchise through an established baseball training academy. It all started when he sent his son Matt to a Florida baseball camp and then bought him a membership to train at a baseball school last year. The extra training and athletic conditioning really helped Matt improve as a young player. My brother was very impressed by the coaches and the facilities there, and when he heard they had baseball franchise opportunities, he became even more interested and asked a lot of questions about it. Then he came and talked to me about it, since I’m an accountant.
After looking it over, I said it looked like they had a good organization which provided good support, and as we discussed it further, he asked me whether I’d be interested in joining him as a partner. After thinking about that at length, I said I’d be interested as an investor, but wouldn’t be giving up my day job. He’s the baseball guy, not me. That was fine with him. So we’ve been working out the details of our plan and making sure we do it right. The baseball school has a very systematic application procedure to help people through it.
